Exhibiting innovations at ACHEMA 2022

Hamilton presents revolutionary solutions for process optimization

From August 22 - 26, 2022 Hamilton Bonaduz AG will show its newest product innovations at ACHEMA in Frankfurt. The focus will be especially on the unique optical CO2-sensor ‘CO2NTROL’ as well as the new ‘Dencytee Arc’-sensor for the measurement of total cell density in bioprocesses.
In view of the big challenges posed to the industry by PAT requirements, companies search for intelligent measurement technologies, which operate quick, precise and are easy to handle. Hamilton has addressed this. And the latest member of the Hamilton sensor-family will also cause a stir at ACHEMA: With Dencytee Arc, Hamilton is opening a new chapter in the field of in-line total cell density measurement. Unlike the conventional optical measurement principle, which only measures transmitted light, a second light detector is used, that also measures the light reflected by the cells. The combination of transmission and reflection measurement enables a precise measurement in both, low and high cell concentrations. Perfect linearity over the entire measuring range from 0 to 200 g/L CDW yeast and an accuracy of ± 1 % enables almost seamless process monitoring - in real time. High laboratory effort, increased contamination risks and fluctuating data quality due to handling errors are therefore a thing of the past. Thanks to the use of Dencytee Arc, the number of off-line samples can be reduced, which in turn saves time and money.
"It's a perfect fit! Just in time for ACHEMA, we can present the results of our tireless research and development work to trade visitors. We know that we are offering many companies important opportunities for process optimization as a result. This means that it has been worthwhile to always remain in dialog and to always focus on the current requirements of the market," explains Daniel Egger, Global Marketing Director Process Analytics at Hamilton Bonaduz AG.
