Hamilton Bonaduz AG is very pleased with the course of this year’s BrauBeviale
As in the past year, the booth of Hamilton Bonaduz AG attracted many visitors at the BrauBeviale. The expert’s interest was particularly strong regarding the mobile dissolved oxygen measurement device Beverly. “Beverly has been developed in close cooperation with breweries and is therefore tailored exactly to their requirements”, explains Dr. Knut Georgy, Senior Market Segment Manager Process Analytics at Hamilton. The transportable dissolved oxygen measurement device provides easy and fast quality control, used at any point during the brewery process. With its robust design, user-friendly operation and easy maintenance it is ideally suited for the harsh brewery conditions. “The measurement device works with the dissolved oxygen sensor VisiFerm DO and offers especially small or medium-sized breweries the highest quality standards for a fair price. Consequently, we were already able to add many trade visitors to our list of interested parties”, elaborates Dr. Knut Georgy contently.
Another highlight were the Arc Sensors: a micro transmitter in the sensor head saves all relevant data, including calibration and lifetime information. Depending on the application, different adapters are used that e.g. allow for a wireless communication between the Arc sensors and a mobile device. By means of colored LEDs the current sensor state can easily be recognized and visualized on mobile devices using the ArcAir app.
The company covers the essential need for precise dissolved oxygen measurements in low ppb ranges with the optical dissolved oxygen sensor VisiTrace DO. The sensor convinces with fast, reliable and exact results in ppb ranges of 0-2000. The well-known short response time of the optical technology ensures a rapid detection of changing dissolved oxygen contents. The implemented micro transmitter provides the signals directly to the process control system via a 4-20 mA interface. The integrated Bluetooth 4.0 ensures furthermore a wireless data exchange with appropriately equipped smartphones and tablets.
